About

Professional background
My approach to educational technology grew from practical challenges in teaching and curriculum planning: how to keep learning coherent, make resources easier to use and give young learners meaningful opportunities to practise.
My work includes curriculum mapping, resource development, assessment design, collaborative teaching, interactive learning development and educational technology prototyping. The projects in this portfolio respond to those genuine teaching and learning needs.

Learning design philosophy
A practical framework for making learning experiences useful, accessible and grounded in evidence.
Define the intended learning before selecting activities or technology.
Consider the needs, constraints and confidence of learners and educators.
Use tools because they improve the experience—not because they are novel.
Remove avoidable barriers so the learning remains central.
Enthusiasm matters, but evidence of understanding matters more.
Treat design as an iterative process rather than a one-off deliverable.
Professional development
Classroom teaching developed into curriculum design, postgraduate educational research, interactive learning development and educational technology prototyping.
I define the educational problem, learning purpose and design direction, then use tools such as OpenAI Codex to support technical implementation and iteration.

My MA dissertation examined how international school teachers in Thailand integrate digital technology into curriculum planning to support active learning. Effective integration depends on alignment between technology, pedagogy, learning objectives and context.
